West End election results. The Daily Planet reports that Kerry Welch remains mayor for Norwood and is joined by newly elected board member Kieffer Parrino, and incumbents Sandra Esch and Rich Sanchez. In Nucla elections, five seats trustee seats and a mayoral seat was filled, all by incumbents. Six board seats including a mayoral seat were also filled in Naturita. The Norwood mayoral election was the first in 18 years.

Monday, the City of Montrose begins week two of their Spring Cleanup. City crews will not pick up tree limbs, hazardous waste, electronic waste, paint, or large truck tires. Residents who are a part of the second half of this cleanup are asked to place their materials curbside by 7am Monday.  Get all the details at cityofmontrose.org.

Delta County Road and Bridge District 2 advises motorists of daytime road closures at East Main Street in Cedaredge. According to the Delta County Independent, the closure will begin Monday, April 12, and continue Monday-Thursday until a culvert replacement has been completed.
