Three people were injured in a 20-car-pile up that temporarily closed eastbound I-70 just west of Frisco. Colorado State Patrol spokesman Nathaniel Reid tells the Denver Post the three were taken to Summit Medical Center after yesterday’s crashes. Snowy weather caused problems for the area much of Sunday afternoon. Earlier in the day westbound lanes of I-70 were closed for an hour while multiple accidents were cleared off the road. No injuries were reported then.
