Young escaped the accident with no injuries but was arrested for DUI. Luckily no one else was involved in the accident.
Last night about 75 people showed up to hear two panels speak for and against Proposition 101 and Amendments 60 and 61. Those for the three issues were Mike Mason of Cedaredge and Debbie Schum of Delta. Those against the issue were Dave Laursen of Montrose and Richard Harding of Olathe. The event was sponsored by Montrose County and KUBC; it was broadcast live. The two hour meeting accepted public comment on each issue. If you weren’t able to ask a question or hear the forum, Club 20 is holding another forum next Wednesday (October 13th) on the same issues. That meeting will be at 5:00p at the Montrose County Administration Building.
