Bill Patterson Honored With America The Beautiful Volunteer Pass

The Bureau of Land Management Uncompahgre Field Office and the U.S. Forest Service Ouray Ranger District of Montrose, Colorado honor volunteer Bill Patterson with an “America the Beautiful” Volunteer Pass. These passes are awarded to individuals who accrue 500 hours of service at federal public lands agencies and allow free entry into federally operated recreation sites across the country for one year.  Patterson earned his pass volunteering for the Montrose Public Lands Center where he has worked since 2009.
