The treatment of some Bureau of Land Management lands as wilderness already has begun, according to U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton.  According to the Daily Sentinel one of Tipton’s  aides said the wild lands policy proposed by Salazar has suffered from a “fundamental misunderstanding.”  Salazar, on the other hand, insisted there have been “significant communications” with various users of the nation’s public lands.
