The City of Montrose’s Uncompahgre Riverway Master Plan was unveiled yesterday during a community open house. The plan breaks down the river corridor into 16 sections and recommends a 3-5 year implementation period. The creation of the master plan was paid in part by GOCO grants.  The Daily Press says the plan will be reviewed at 5:00p tonight by the city’s parks advisory board and the planning commission. They are expected to make recommendations to council during (city council’s) April 5th meeting. At that meeting, council could accept the plan.
