Telluride Tourism Board Predicting Brighter Spring and Summer

TELLURIDE  -  Though numbers dipped slightly in December, January and February, average lodging occupancy for the past six months in Telluride rose 3.9 percent from the year before .  The Daily Planet says the Tourism Board’s predictions, overall occupancy between November and April this year will be up about 7.3 percent above the same period last year.  So far their predictions have come true,  March is proving to be a successful month, with occupancy rates 16 percent ahead of March of 2010, and average daily rates up as well.
