Homes Evacuated Near Cripple Creek

CRIPPLE CREEK  -  Fire crews are battling at least five wildfires in southern Colorado, including one in Teller County that’s prompted the residents of 104 homes to evacuate.  The Daily Sentinel has learned that according to the Sheriff’s office 105 homes in a subdivision near Cripple Creek were urged to evacuate the day before and most of the residents have done so.  The fire is burning on 50 acres and so far no homes have been lost….
