The attorneys involved in the trial of Former District Attorney Myrl Serra are arguing about some evidence that was released too late or not released at all. Serra and his attorneys attempted to get the court to throw away hundreds of emails that were not turned over by the prosecution. Assistant Attorney General Robert Shapiro said that he is willing to meet with the defense to decide what evidence is relevant to the trial because not all the emails are related to the offenses that Serra is charged with. Judge David Bottger denied the sanction against the prosecution but will allow the defense to review the emails.
