Major Colorado Rivers Slowly Receding

DENVER  -  The threat of major flooding in Colorado is receding, but the National Weather Service still has flood warnings for portions of the Colorado and Elk Rivers and advisories for several other basins.  NBC 11 News says that some areas, mostly in Northern Colorado, still have plenty of snow to melt yet the risk of flooding is diminishing.  Meanwhile, the National Weather Service says these warmer temperatures are keeping water levels high particularly on portions of the Elk and Colorado Rivers…
