COLLBRAN  -  Law-enforcement and emergency-medical personnel are responding to a ranch south of Collbran this afternoon after two men were injured when a tank reportedly exploded.  Details are sketchy but according to the Daily Sentinel, an emergency scanner indicated that the men were on a ladder when the tank exploded at a natural gas injection well on ME Road at about 12:30 this afternoon.  Initial reports indicated that one man was critically injured with severe head injuries and facial trauma.  The other person’s injuries appeared less severe.  A St. Mary’s CareFlight helicopter has been launced.
