DENVER – There’s mixed news when it comes to crime in Colorado, we’ve got some good news and some bad.  It appears that the Colorado Bureau of Investigation reports that crime in general is down however, there seems to be a significant rise across the state in violent crimes.  The annual CBI statistics released Tuesday make up the Crime in Colorado report for last year.
One other positive outlook, the homicide rate in Colorado is half of the national rate.
