Pitkin County Residents Upset Over Air Spraying On Their Property

ASPEN  -  Pitkin County residents are ticked off after a landowner hired a plane to spray his property to protect against bark beetles.  Sheriff deputy Michael Kendrick told the Aspen Daily News that his office has received calls from many irate homeowners about the early morning dusting and the loud noise accompanying the crop dusters.  An aerial survey by the U.S. Forest Service and the Colorado State Forest Service  has shown that this epidemic of bark beetles has spread across 4 million acres covering both Colorado and Wyoming….
