TELLURIDE  -  Sal Pace is currently the State House minority leader and is in his second term representing central Pueblo in Denver.  But now, according to a report from the Daily Planet, he is running to represent the Third Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives hoping  to dethrone Scott Tipton’s seat in November 2012.  Pace announced his candidacy earlier this spring and said that Tipton has not followed through on original campaign promises.  At one time Pace worked with Tipton in the State House when Tipton represented the 58th District, a seat now held by Don Coram of Montrose.
