MONTROSE - At former District Attorney Myrl Serra’s trial this morning the first female witness testified that she ran into Serra at a dept. store on Dec. 5th. She claimed he had stare at her for about 15 sec and then smirked before slowly walking away. The accuser says that she hid behind a clothing rack in the Menswear department when the encounter took place. No other contact was made. She felt that according to the restraining order this was a violation and reported it to Agent Bennett. The trial will continue tomorrow. Serra is charged with harassment, violation of bond conditions and violation of a restraining order.
