GUNNISON  -  Another college is looking toward a name change.  Western State College in Gunnison  maybe making a change.  The Daily Sentinel writes  Colorado Mesa University trustees are asking Western State College President Jay Helman to keep both schools’ interests in mind as they consider their  name change.  One of the reason Helman and the faculty are looking to make that change is because they recently raised $40 million for scholoarships, endowments, and buildings.  They’ve also garnered another $170 million for construction and renovation projects in the last nine years.  And since Colorado Mesa avoided using Western in the title of their school they are hoping Western State returns the favor…
