MONTROSE  -  A new fire station has been added to the Montrose Fire Protection District.  As of yesterday Station #3 was officially opened and is located 62840 Spring Creek Road.  This station will be operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  It will house a structural fire truck, an ambulance, and brush fire truck.  This new addition is expected to decrease response time to fire and  medical emergencies by an average of 4 to 6 minutes in the western portion of the district….
