High School Basketball Join us tonight for high school basketball as Durango travels to Montrose to take on the Indians at 6 PM with the Girls and the boys to follow on the Sports Voice of the Indians AM 580 KUBC. Gunnison travels to Hotchkiss to take on the Bulldogs at 6 PM with the Girls and the boys to follow on the Area Sports Voice of the Valley 94 KIX.
Montrose Boys Basketball Fundraiser Join the Montrose boys basketball team for a tailgate fundraiser in the Montrose Cafeteria before the Boys Game against Durango from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Dinner includes Sloppy Joes with Chips, Fruit, Punch or Water for 6 Dollars. Second Sloppy Joe is an additional 3 Dollars. Soda and Bottled Water is 1 Dollar. All Desserts are 50 Cents Minimum. Music will be provided by Rusty George and Alan Vigil from 5-6:30 PM. There will also be a silent Auction Tickets are 1 Dollar and you can but 10 Tickets for 8 Dollars to increase your chances of winning. Prizes you could win include: Small Cooler, Black Angus Beef, Necklace and Bracelet Set, A Candle Center Piece, One Hour Flight over Black Canyon and Ridgeway Reservoir and Much More. College Basketball Minnesota Upset #8 Indiana 77-74 last night Leading scorer for the Golden Gophers was Austin Hollins with 18 Points. #6 Duke beat #17 Virginia 61-58 leading scorer for the Blue Devils was Mason Plumlee with 12 Points and 7 Rebounds. Saint Mary’s Upset #23 Gonzaga 83-62 Leading scorer for the Gaels was Matthew Dellavedova with 26 Points and 6 Assists.
