High School Basketball Hotchkiss Lady Bulldogs lost to Coal Ridge 50-29. Hotchkiss Boys beat Coal Ridge 52-33. Norwood Lady Mavericks beat Ouray 68-6. Norwood Boys beat Ouray 60-21. Montrose Lady Indians beat G.J. Central 47-26. Montrose Boys beat G.J. Central 53-37 to improve to 14-2 and 3-0 in SWL.Both Girls and boys will look to remain undefeated in SWL Play when they face off against Fruita Tuesday Night with the Girls at 6 PM and the boys right after on the Sports Voice of the Montrose Indians AM 580 KUBC.
NFL New England Patriots beat Baltimore 23-20 in the AFC Championship Game leading the way for the Patriots was Benjarvis Green-Ellis who had 17 Carries for 68 Yards with 1 Touchdown. New York Giants beat San Francisco 20-17 in Overtime at the NFC Championship game. Topping all players for the Giants was Lawrence Tynes who went 2 for 2 on Field Goals with a long of 31 in Overtime. Super Bowl 46 will be a rematch of Super Bowl 42 which New York won 17-14.
