Police have one man in custody and are looking for another woman associated with a vehicle theft in Ouray County. A Honda Ridgline that was reported stolen out of Ouray County turned up in Utah where police found the truck with the license plates obscured outside of a motel. The woman police are looking for came out of a motel room while a police officer was getting a better look at the vehicle’s plates. The woman then took off running and police arrested the man in the apartment. Police believe that the man arrested had nothing to do with the burglary and was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He referred to the woman by the name on a stolen ID when he was questioned by police. This is one of more than a half dozen burglaries that have happened in Ouray County in recent months.
