Next week is the perfect time to finish some spring cleaning. The Landfill in Montrose is holding a free day next Saturday (Apr. 21) where residents of Montrose County can bring in acceptable items for no charge. Some things are not accepted, such as hazardous materials including paints and oils, and some things do have disposal fees, such as tires which are $4 per passenger tire and $8 per industrial tire. The free day is Saturday, April 21 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
