After over a day of deliberation the jury has returned with their decision on Trooper Ivan “Gene” Lawyer’s case.  According to the District Attorney Pete Hautziner they found him not guilty of Criminally Negligent Homicide, 1^st degree Criminal Trespass, Prohibited Use of a Weapon, and Criminal Mischief Resulting in death.  On the other two charges, Reckless Assault and Illegal Discharge of a firearm into a building the jury was at a stalemate.
