On Sunday a high speed pursuit ended with both a state trooper and a suspect receiving minor injuries.  Early Sunday morning Trooper Joshua Yoder was chasing Igor Skorev on I-70 through Glenwood Canyon.  At times speeds reached 125 mph.   Trooper Yoder finally forced Skorev and his Nissan Maxima off the state highway.  He was later taken into Garfield County Jail where he was booked.  Both he and Yoder were treated at Valley View Hospital for minor injuries and then released.  After the chase it was found that Skorev was driving without a license and there was a warrant out for his arrest.  Official charges have not yet been filed but Skorev is expected to be charged with reckless driving and eluding in addition for driving without a license among other counts.
