Earlier this afternoon Taylor elementary school was put on Shelter in Place while police were searching for a male who was on foot in the area.  They have an arrest warrant out for this man.  As of 2:30 this afternoon parents were asked to pick up their students because they would not be released on their own.  Parents are also asked to bring ID.  Bus riders in the meantime will be escorted to the buses by staff and district employees as scheduled.  Authorities would like to emphasize  that there is no threat to the school or the children.
