Garfield County Sheriff’s office found itself in another car chase yesterday that started near Rifle and ended about 3 miles down the road.  The vehicle officers were chasing, a Honda Civic, eventually rolled about 7 times before the pursuit finally ended.  It crashed into a median and the two occupants in that vehicle died at the scene.  The car was initially being pursued for speeding.  The incident took place at about 3:00 yesterday afternoon causing some delays on I-70 for a short time.  The names of those 2 occupants have not been released.
