A person in Glenwood Springs is lucky to be alive after he jumped the platform at an Amtrak Station.  He wound up underneath the train that was heading westbound.  The train, The California Zephyr was leaving the station when the individual jumped.  Amtrak Spokesman Steve Kulm said the train stopped and both the police and fire departments responded.  The person, whose identity has not been released was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.  No further information on the individual is available at this time and after an investigation the train continued on its destination.
