The Colorado State House Finance Committee rejected the Advancing Students for a Stronger Economy Tomorrow or ASSET bill yesterday. On a strictly party line vote the finance committee struck down the bill which had been passed by the senate and the house education committee. The bill would have provided discounted tuitions to Colorado Colleges for graduating high school students who are on the path to citizenship.
