Coming up this weekend is the annual Drug Enforcement Administration’s Drug Take Back Day. On Saturday the Montrose Police Department and the DEA will be accepting unused prescription drugs at Walgreens, both City Market locations andWal-Mart from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Drug Take Back Day is in its fourth year and last year the DEA collected 188 tons of prescription drugs. The program was started so that unused or expired prescriptions can be disposed of safely. This is a national event and several Law Enforcement Agencies are taking part. For more information click here.
