Yesterday morning authorities fished out a body from the Colorado River near Rifle.  They say the body they found may be that of a man who tried to escape after stealing a car.  New Castle Police believe this may have been the suspect who stole a vehicle then abandoned it and jumped in the river on April 16^th.  At this time police have not released the man’s identity.
