The Mayor of Denver is looking to further expand the infrastructure around DIA by building an Airport City. The plan for Airport City Denver includes dividing up parcels of land to be developed for businesses of all types. There would be different districts in the city, one for aerospace businesses including cargo and even military operations, a tech district and an agro district for food processing and distribution and more.
