During the joint meeting of County Commissioners and City Councilors both entities agreed they would like to see improvement in the economic development area.  City Manager Bill Bell would like to see a group effort between the two in sharing like office supplies, construction equipment and costs of projects that would benefit both city and county.  County Manager Jesse Smith pointed out the big obstacle is trying to work together within each agency’s limitations.  It was also pointed out that the public needs to be aware of what the city’s role and county’s role is in a number of areas.  Communication is the key.
