At the annual track meet for District 51 in Grand Junction yesterday members of the Grand Junction Police Swat Team ran the Special Olympics Torch into Stocker Stadium. The Special Olympics Regional Competition is coming up this weekend and students from Fruita Monument High School built an Olympic Cauldron to hold the flame throughout the games. The Special Olympics are on Saturday at Grand Junction High School.
