Marijuana DUI Bill Narrowly Passes CO Senate

The Colorado State Senate passed a bill this week that sets a marijuana blood standard for driving much like alcohol. The bill would create a law where if drivers had more than five nanograms of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, per milliliter of blood they would be considered intoxicated and would receive a DUI. The bill passed the senate by one vote yesterday and now moves to the house where a similar bill passed overwhelmingly last year.
