During today’s Montrose County Commissioner’s meeting  two proclamations were approved.  One recognizing May 16^th as Law Enforcement Memorial Day in Montrose County to remember all those in law enforcement who made the ultimate sacrifice in keeping our neighborhoods safe.  And second, a proclamation making June 15^th Elder Abuse Awareness Day in Montrose County.  Also, Doug Bartz from the Deerview Landowners Assoc. approached the Commissioners asking for some monetary support to help with the upkeep on the V66 trail.  The commissioners tabled the discussion for now and agreed to a 2^nd meeting in June before making any decision.
