At today’s Montrose County Board of County Commissioners meeting the hot topic of conversation was whether or not the county should partner with MEDC  for retention of a manufacturing facility  in Montrose County.  Bruce Panter with the MEDC explains why they are interested in keeping the business in question, Ross Reels, here in Montrose.

Panter also explains that 3M, the parent company of Ross Reels, has not threatened to leave but is exploring its options, one of which is the possibility of leaving.
