Next week hunters and landowners interested in improving the Landowner Voucher Program are encouraged to attend a town hall style meeting in Grand Junction to address some proposed changes.  Colorado Parks and Wildlife agency director Rick Cables will lead the meeting and discussion.  According to Cables the Landowner Voucher Program encourages good stewardship practices and provide additional hunting opportunities.  During this upcoming meeting the agency will talk about the proposed changes which have been drawn up based on more than 20 public meetings in the past that were led by landowners, sportsmen, outfitters, and wildlife managers.
