Downtown Montrose has an interesting new feature. There is now a high speed wireless internet connection that blankets the downtown area. There have been network antennas placed throughout downtown for the internet connection. The City and the Downtown Development Authority teamed up with Fast Tracks Communications to provide the service. Future plans will expand the coverage all over the Main Street Corridor from the bypass to the Uncompahgre River.
