The Sunrise Mine Fire was finally contained this weekend. On Sunday fire crews finally reached 100% containment. The remaining fire crews will stick around to finish cleaning up and monitoring for any hot spots. The fire had shrunk to 5,742 acres when it was contained and has cost $4,146,254 to fight.
