Two brothers from Nucla are trying to get a new holiday recognized in Montrose County. Darryl and Bob Roberts had the towns of Nucla, Naturita and Norwood proclaim June 21 as Affirmation Day. This is a national movement and the two say they already have local political support for the holiday which focuses on the Constitution.
