Jun 6th @ 6:18 am in News by Scott Staley
The Montrose City Council met last night with recycling on the agenda. The council had three options to choose from, one would open up the recycling contract to new bids, one would renegotiate their current contract and a third would hire a recycling consultant. The council voted to renegotiate their contract with Cornerstone, the city’s current recycling contractor. Their contract with the city is up at the end of the month and City Manager Bill Bell explains what happens if they can’t reach terms with Cornerstone.
