Governor John Hickenlooper signed a bill into law yesterday sponsored by District 58 representative Don Coram. The SUCCESS (Stopping Unnecessary Costs and Creating Economic Sustainability for Small Business) act lowers regulatory fines for small infractions by small businesses. The law allows businesses to fix the infractions before issuing a fine. The SUCCESS act passed through both the house and senate with overwhelming bipartisan support, getting only one no vote.
