TMRAO Considering Reorganization

The Telluride Montrose Regional Air Organization may have no choice but to seriously consider an option that former executive director, Scott Stewart, suggested and that is reorganization.  Escalating fuel costs and other factors have left TMRAO financially strapped and in search of a more progressive direction in order to entice other airlines to make Montrose and Telluride their destination.  Additional airlines could help economic development for the area by not only adding more tourism but luring businesses as well.  Another option being considered is trying to sign up low-cost carriers to offset the rising cost of operations.
