There is a scam going around businesses in Montrose with a man claiming to be a representative of Premier Maps. According to the Montrose Association of Commerce and Tourism, who sent a release about the scam, the man identifies himself as Robert Rogers and claims to be contracted by the City or the County to publish the official map, and is selling advertising. The claims are false, as the official map is compiled and published by Montrose ACT.
