Wal Mart has teamed up with the Colorado Department of Transportation to promote safe travel planning at rest stops across the state. The project started at Johnson’s Corner Rest Stop, the largest in Colorado and it uses TVs at rest areas to stream live information about weather and road conditions. Wal Mart donated 20 42″ HDTVs for rest stops in the state. There will be these installations at rest stops in Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs and throughout the I-25 corridor.
