The Western Slope is assisting in battling the High Park Fire on the Front Range.  Grand Junction’s BLM office have sent several helicopters and other air support as well as personnel and assist crews from the Upper Colorado River Fire Management area.  Not everyone has been sent out.  The BLM says some equipment, vehicles, and firefighters are staying here on the Western Slope in case things happen here.  There have been some minor flare-ups in our area including the fire in Cedaredge.  Dry conditions throughout the state are keeping everyone on guard.
