The High Park Fire is still growing and the personnel on the ground almost doubled yesterday. The fire has grown to 46,820 acres and there are 1,263 firefighters on the ground. Lightning has been determined as the official cause of the fire and 600 more residents have been evacuated. The firefighters are working 24 hour schedules but the incident commander believes that the fire won’t be completely out until later in the summer.
