The Texaco Country Showdown is coming up on Saturday, July 21st. Winners from our contest will go on to compete for a chance to win $100,000 at the televised National finals in Nashville this year. The Showdown gave artists like Garth Brooks, Leann Rimes, Sara Evans and more their start. To enter, you can fill out an entry form at our stations, 106 Rose Lane in Montrose. When you return the form, bring a two song demo CD (entries must be on a CD, nothing else) and a $20 entry fee. Forms must be submitted no later than July 6th.
