Firefighters on the ground at the High Park Fire have identified the tree that started the now 58,000 acre blaze. A tree was struck by lightning in the early morning of Saturday the 9^th and that set off the blaze, which quickly grew, reaching nearly 40,000 acres by the end of that weekend. So far, the High Park Fire has cost $14.5 million to fight.
