Firefighters on the ground at the High Park Fire have identified the tree that started the now 58,000 acre blaze. A tree was struck by lightning in the early morning of Saturday the 9th and that set off the blaze, which quickly grew, reaching nearly 40,000 acres by the end of that weekend. So far, the High Park Fire has cost $14.5 million to fight.
