The community has come out in support of a seven year old Montrose boy who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Braiden Smith was diagnosed with Leukemia after he fainted in Wal Mart on Saturday. He is currently in Denver receiving treatment and several donation accounts have been set up to help out the family, who has no health insurance. There is an account for donations at Alpine Bank under Braiden Smith’s name and another account at Bank of Colorado. There will also be a yard sale and bake sale this weekend to help raise money. The sale will be at 245 S. 2nd from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. If you would like to donate baked goods or other items for the sale call 275–6562.
