That firefighter who supposedly is helping crews with the High Park Fire and at one time pose for a picture with the governor turns out not only to be an imposter but has a criminal history as well.  Larimer County Sheriff’s officials say that 30 yr old Michael Stillman Maher was caught crossing into a restricted fire area using stolen government license plate and phone credentials.  His criminal history includes pleading guilty to 3^rd degree sexual assault and pleading guilty to disorderly conduct in Eagle County as well as falsely reporting a fake crime.  Maher was arrested and his bond has been set at $15 thousand.
